Spring Concert by Arcadian Strings conducted by William Dutton
Concert of popular classical music by Arcadian String Orchestra, conducted by William Dutton. William is well-known in Harrogate and beyond as a former BBC Chorister of the year and, as a teenage violinist, winner of the Strings Section of the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition. Programme includes music by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Purcell, Elgar and Gerald Finzi, who lived for a time in Harrogate at the time of the First World War. Refreshments will be served after the concert.
