Our knowledgeable guides will lead you through this cemetery, sharing tales of courage and resilience. Don't miss this opportunity to pay tribute to these extraordinary women and learn about their contributions. Book your spot now!

With over 1000 Commonwealth War Graves, Stonefall Cemetery is one of the largest Commonwealth War Graves Commission sites in the North of England. Nearly all of the casualties are airmen from the Second World War but six women are commemorated at the site too. These casualties include women who served in the Auxiliary Territorial Service, Women's Auxiliary Air Force and the Territorial Army Nursing Service.

Please note: The starting point for the tour is in front of the Crematorium - please be mindful that on weekdays cremations and funerals might be taking place.

Please come dressed for the weather. The tour involves walking on grass as well as paths and will last for approximately 90 minutes.

You can park within the cemetery (be mindful that the gates for vehicles are locked at 4pm at weekends and 4:30pm weekdays). There is a public toilet near the main entrance from Wetherby Road.
