Richmond North Yorkshire Walk
Distance – 6 Miles
Time – 09.30
Meeting Place – Richmond Race Course, DL10 4TD
Starting at the car park to the old Richmond Race course. We will pass the old race course grandstand before heading out of the race course. This is a circular walk taking in Beacon Plantation where you can see the old beacon and trig pillar. Returning from the beacon we head down to Whitcliffe Farm then a steady climb up to Aislabeck before heading back to the race course car park. There is an option to head into Richmond to get some refreshments.
You will need walking shoes/boots
1ltr of water
Snacks
Waterproof jacket and trousers
Any personal first aid kit, Inhaler etc
Suncream
Insect repelent
20-30ltr backpack
This is a dog friendly walk, however you must keep your pooch under control at all times due to livestock in fields we may cross.
I am a qualified Mountain Leader and first aid trained.
