The Projector Bikes are back in Harrogate!
Join us for an evening of dazzling lights, magical animations, and fun for the whole family as the Projector Bikes light up Harrogate once again! As part of a special illuminated trail, these one-of-a-kind bikes will roam through the town, projecting enchanting animations onto iconic buildings and streets.
What to Expect
Picture this: a graceful deer dashing across the White Hart Hotel, teapots twirling on Betty’s Tea Room, and playful bears chasing each other along Cambridge Street (2021’s show). From sea creatures to dancing teapots, you never know what you might see this year!
Wrap Up and Get Ready
Be sure to wrap up warm and bring along torches or lanterns to light your way as you follow the magic! This evening event is free, family-friendly, and perfect for a nighttime stroll. Whether you’re pushing a pram, bringing your dog, or simply walking hand-in-hand with loved ones, the illuminated spectacle is sure to delight.
Special Highlights
Not only will the bikes fill the streets with light and music, but the Harrogate International Festivals team will also be giving out free books as part of the build-up to the Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival. (While stocks last, so grab yours early!)
Duration: 45–60 minutes of pure fun
Accessibility: Suitable for all, including prams and pooches
FREE for everyone!
Important Notes
Stay safe: Parents, please keep an eye on little ones as we’ll be walking along footpaths and pavements, sometimes next to busy roads.
Bring a torch or lantern: While parts of the route will be lit, it’ll be mostly dark, so bring some light to help guide your way and join the fun of illuminating the town.
Dress for the weather: Warp up warm and do not forget your umbrella if needed!
Get ready for an unforgettable evening of light, sounds and family fun—see you there!
