John Longstaff, Director of Music at St Peter’s Church Harrogate will be conducting Handel’s Messiah during Holy Week, reprising his highly successful performances of Messiah in 2018 and 2019.


This performance takes place in Holy Week on Wednesday 5 April at 7.15pm when John will direct the Choir of St. Peter's Church, Vocalis Chamber Choir (conductor Alex Kyle) the Harrogate Handel Players (leader Fiona Love) and Alan Horsey organ in this most popular of Handel’s oratorios. The professional soloists are Eleonore Cockerham soprano (pictured), Emma Carrington mezzo-soprano, James Mickethwaite tenor and Andrew Greenan bass.
