"Nothing in this world changes unless it is challenged”, and ‘Made in Dagenham’ is a key piece of British History depicting the female sewing machinists’ strike for equal pay in 1968, at the Ford River Plant in Dagenham. It radiates strong women realising their strength of standing together. It follows the story of Rita O’Grady and her work colleagues/friends. With, poignant and uplifting songs and fantastic good old fashioned moments of comedy genius, the show offers all round family entertainment. HOPs have been known for their high quality shows such as; Sister Act, Annie, Kinky Boots and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. They are celebrating their centenary year in 2024. The show contains language and references considered appropriate for the time.

This is a community production presented by HOPS Musical Theatre Company.
