Held over the first weekend in December in Knaresborough's Market Place this traditional Yorkshire festive market, with a nod to the diversity of cultures around us, brings a flourish of festive cheer to this historic Yorkshire town.

Come and hear the brass bands, carol singers and seasonal entertainers too, who bring a lovely atmosphere to enjoy. The narrow cobbled streets are lined with festively decorated shops, from butchers, bakers and candle makers to picture galleries and antique sellers.

A wide variety of local artists will be performing in the Knaresborough Christmas Market during the weekend, including local morris dancers, brass bands, choirs and a fabulous Firework Finale on the Sunday.

A free Park and Ride is available all weekend from the GSPK car park (HG5 8LF) on Manse Lane to Chapel Street, close to the Market Square.
