Harrogate Finzi Festival
Gerald Finzi was born in London in 1901, and moved to Harrogate with his mother after the outbreak of the First World War; In the seven years he lived in Harrogate, his experiences paved the way for the development of his unique musical voice. Join us for two concerts in the Harrogate Wesley Chapel with Finzi’s music front and centre, from music composed during his youth in Harrogate to his very final work, completed a month before his death in 1956.
