Stone Age Workshops
Try your hand at Stone Age Crafts with one of our experts, here’s what to expect:
Listen to captivating stories about early human life, make stone age crafts using traditional methods and see first-hand what tools were used in the Stone Age demonstrations.
This experience can be enjoyed on its own or as part of a full discovery day bundle where you and your family can also enjoy the Caves, Halloween trail, Gem panning at the sluice and Ultraviolet cave experience!
Halloween Trail
Venture into the shadowy depths of the ancient caverns, find the clues and solve the spooky riddles to win a prize! (The trail quiz is included with every child’s ticket)
Ultraviolet Caves
After 3pm the lights in the caverns are turned off and you can explore the glowing caves in the dark. You are provided with a UV torch that reacts with the calcite causing it to fluoresce.
