Come and experience a Flow Back to Nature Yorkshire Yoga Retreat where you’ll experience the forces of nature, relax, recharge and detox. Stay in our rustic wooden lodges with wood fired hot tubs and cosy log fires set in Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Yorkshire Dales.

Yorkshire Yoga Retreat in a Beautiful Location
Matt Tottman (Yogeek Yoga) will be on hand to lead four yoga sessions at our beautiful location. Matt is a yoga guide, personal trainer, meditation facilitator and mind set coach. You’ll be in good capable hands throughout all of the sessions. In addition, Matt will be available to lead private sessions throughout the weekend. Yoga sessions will be both indoors and outdoors allowing you to tailor your own weekend of yoga.

Experience Fun, Safe Outdoor Activities with Friendly Instructors
How Stean Gorge staff will be facilitating gorge walking, canoeing, caving and local walks which you can sign up to at your leisure. How Stean Gorge are experts in their field and provide fun, safe outdoor activity sessions tailored to the group’s aims. The sessions provided will be perfect for beginners with the option of a challenge or two for those up for something more exciting!

Glass Cantilevered Cafe
We can cater for all allergies and preferences. Our chef is on hand to provide healthy and nutritious meals throughout your stay. We are fully licensed if you fancy a drink with your meal. The meditation and yoga sessions will take place in the cafe with glass walls and a partial glass floor overlooking the gorge.



Flow Back to Nature Accommodation
You’ll have use of our rustic lodges. All lodges have a log burner if you want a cosy night by the fire. Most lodges have a wood fired hot tub that you can use during your stay. The lodges range from 6 beds to 10 beds. The beds are rustic wooden sturdy bunkbeds. Participants will use the Facilities Building with lovely underfloor heating adjacent the lodges for toilets, family sized showers. Don’t forget your sleeping bag and towel!

Participants will be sharing with others on the retreat; however, you won’t be sharing with others of a different gender.



Flow Back to Nature Yorkshire Yoga Retreat
Itinerary:
Day 1 – Friday
Arrive from 4pm onwards where we’ll show you to your rustic lodge
5pm Thai green chicken curry, wholegrain rice and garlic and coriander naan (vegetarian option available)
7pm Evening Yin Yoga practice (Yoga 1) and social
Day 2 – Saturday
7.30 – 8.30am Morning meditation and YinYasa Yoga practice (Yoga 2)
9am Healthy breakfast – options include avocado on toast, scrambled egg on toast with muesli and yogurt.
10am Explore How Stean Gorge by Abseil and Gorge Walking – follow the amazing natural wonder of How Stean Gorge. Experience the thrill of nature and feel the benefit of cold water therapy as you immerse yourself in the natural water following through How Stean Gorge.
10am – 12noon Optional extra – One to One Private Yoga Session £20 for 1 hr
12.30pm Lunch – Homemade tomato and basil soup served with crusty rolls and homemade vegetarian brownie.
2pm Chill out time. Take an amble down the country lanes or stoke up the hot tub for an afternoon soak. The choice is yours.
2pm – 5pm Optional extra – One to One Private Yoga Session £20 for 1 hr
5pm Delicious Evening Meal – Singapore Steak Noodles with tempura vegetables (vegetarian options available)
7pm YinYasa Yoga practice and social (Yoga 3)
Day 3 – Sunday
7.30 – 8.30am Sunday Morning Meditation – Energising Flow practice (Yoga 4)
9am Tasty Breakfast – options include avocado on toast, scrambled egg on toast with muesli and yogurt.
10am Canoeing at Scar Reservoir or Walk. The canoe trip will give you the chance to paddle along one of Yorkshire’s iconic reservoirs and soak up the Upper Nidderdale scenery first hand.
10am – 12noon Optional extra – One to One Private Yoga Session £20 for 1 hr
12 noon Lunch – Arrabbiata Fusilli and farewells


All activities are optional, alternatively take a wander down the windy lanes taking you through Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Yorkshire Dales. Explore moors and valleys, its patchwork of fields enclosed by dry stone walls, small stone-built villages and the imposing reservoirs at Angram, Scar and Gouthwaite.



What’s included in our Yorkshire Yoga Retreat
· 2 x nights shared accommodation with wood fired hot tubs available throughout the weekend and can be used at any time throughout your stay.

· 4 x Yoga sessions of differing natures

· 1 x Gorge Walking

· 1 x Canoeing at Scar House Reservoir

· 2 x Delicious Home-Made Breakfasts, Lunches and Evening Meals (Vegan and Vegetarian Options Available)
