February half term at Beningbrough
The garden is open daily for the local school holidays, 10 - 18 February, 10am - 3.30pm. Pick up the free tree trail - Awesome Architect. The dogs Dick and Rover used to live on the estate and will lead you on your adventure. Pick the right puppy for your age for the most suitable adventure and challenges, or as a family, try them all.
The wilderness play area is popular with children of all ages, from building dens, climbing on the clamber stack or swinging from heights. With horses and a Wendy house, there's plenty to let the imagination of the youngest visitors run wild.
The gardens are the perfect spot to tick off some of the National Trust playlist: 50 things to do before you're 11 3/4. We'll point you in the right direction for your adventures as you wander.
Head into the hall to see some of the collection and art work. With faces to spot and animals in the tapestries on the ground floor, and poems to write and photographers to inspire in the first floor art galleries. When you're in need of a rest, head to the restaurant for a hot lunch or chocolate to warm up with.
Free entry for National Trust members, RHS members and under fives.
