Following the sell-out event in 2023, we are pleased to present this hugely popular festive extravaganza full of seasonal classics ­– including movements from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio – alongside popular sing-along carols and choral masterpieces.

Don't miss the special opportunity to hear the magnificent Ripon Cathedral Choir perform with the acclaimed St Cecilia Orchestra in a spectacular Christmas concert within the nave. Led by the cathedral’s Director of Music, Dr. Ronny Krippner, this wonderful evening will showcase Ripon's musical excellence at this joyful time of year.

Last year this event was a sell out, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets and seating information

This year we have three seated areas, blocks A - C. Tickets in block A are limited and only sold at full price:

Block A, front rows: £25 plus booking fee (for all tickets)

Block B, central nave: £20 plus booking fee, under 16s or full time education: £5 plus booking fee.

Block C, transepts (may have some restricted view): £12 plus booking fee, under 16s or full time education: £5 plus booking fee.

Details for the evening:

Doors will open at 4.45pm with refreshments available. We are afraid there will be no access to the cathedral beforehand due to rehearsals.

Please bring your tickets (either printed or on your phone) and you will be guided to your relevant seating area. Seating is unreserved within three blocks.

There will be an interval 20 mins half way through the concert. A bar will be open for refreshments on arrival, half way through and at the close.

The carol concert will close at 7.30pm.

The nearest parking is in the St Mary Gate & Cathedral Car Park (by Sainsbury's). Onsite disabled parking is limited. Please ring the Chapter House on 01765 602072 to book.
