Join us on an unforgettable canoeing adventure near the beautiful historic city of Ripon with the How Stean Gorge Team! Led by our expert guides, our canoeing experiences offer a perfect sense of adventure, allowing you to explore the stunning landscapes of Yorkshire’s picturesque countryside from the water. Master the art of the open canoe as you learn the skills required to pilot your craft along the calm Ripon Canal, whilst watching the local wildlife and enjoying the scenery.

No previous experience is necessary and we provide all safety equipment and can teach canoeing for beginners – making this an ideal activity for people of any age or skill level.

Your half-day adventure promises to be a comprehensive and enjoyable canal canoeing experience. Spanning a total of three thrilling hours, our adventure includes a thorough introduction and expert guidance from our experienced and friendly instructors.

Your Canoeing Adventure In a nutshell
3 hour open water canoeing experience
Length of trip : 3.5 miles / 5.7 km
Introduction and guidance by experienced and friendly instructors
All safety equipment provided – canoes, paddles, buoyancy aids
Max of 10 participants per instructor
