About The Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park
Set in the beautiful countryside between Masham and Ripon in North Yorkshire, the Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park is home to over 90 striking contemporary sculptures, situated within 45 acres of stunning woodland and gardens.
Inspired by the Himalayas, the park is home to one of the North’s largest collections of rhododendrons, azaleas and magnolias. The terrain undulates with steep paths in some areas, meandering through 45 acres of woodlands, gardens, an arboretum, and alongside tranquil lakes with a multitude of wildlife.
In addition to its botanical attractions, the garden boasts an impressive array of contemporary sculptures by both local and international artists. These sculptures are strategically placed throughout the garden, blending harmoniously with the natural landscape and providing visitors with opportunities for reflection and inspiration.
For 2026, 100 new sculptures have been added to the garden for a ‘Sculptures in the Landscape Exhibition’ exploring artistry in nature, with work supplied from across the UK. With a woodland playground; garden tearoom serving freshly prepared food and dogs welcome in the garden on short leads, this is a super family day out.
