"Summer Serenade" will be an irresistible concert of light classical music in the beautiful setting of St. James's Church, Birstwith, performed by The Arcadian Strings orchestra.

Tea, cakes and coffee will be served in the church hall from 10 a.m. with the concert itself starting at 11 a.m. in the church.

The concert will be conducted by exciting young conductor William Dutton - 2014 finalist of the BBC Young Musician of the Year. With performances by guest professional violinists from Vienna, the exceptional twin sisters Nadia and Ljuba Kalmykova, you will not want to miss this concert which is also in aid of church funds.

The programme includes the JS Bach Concerto for Two Violins, excerpts from Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No.3, Grieg's Holberg Suite and Dvorak's Serenade for Strings.

Admission: £10 for adults, children under 18 free (pay on the door) to include tea, coffee, cakes and concert.
