Skell Valley Project Exhibition: Digging Deep in the Archives
This fascinating exhibition explores newly uncovered archive material showcasing how the boundaries of the Skell Valley have changed over time and how historic walking practises have shaped the way we experience this landscape. Discover the stories and memories of the people who live and work along the valley, which follows the river Skell from Nidderdale to Ripon.
The exhibition is free to attend and has been curated by the West Yorkshire Archive Service and the oral history team as a part of the Skell Valley Project which is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
