Everyone is warmly invited to Ripon Together’s first Green Fair on Sunday 25th June

The event will run from 10am until 4pm at Ripon Town Hall in the market square where you will find a whole host of environmentally-focused stalls.

The aim of the event is to raise awareness of the environment in the City of Ripon and the wider area and to promote the care of the city’s three rivers, wildlife, green spaces and its canal. It will coincide with Market Day in the town so that locals and visitors can enjoy both events while in the town.

The Green Fair will throw the spotlight on public transport, electric vehicles, walking and cycling, as well as providing information on how both householders and businesses can reduce energy use and save money through retrofit, renewable energy and insulation.

Ripon Cathedral, the National Trust at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal, are also involved in organising the fair.
