Ripon Choral Society’s summer concert on Saturday, 15th June features Mozart’s Requiem, “a masterpiece shrouded in mystery” and John Rutter’s Feel the Spirit, a jazz-flavoured setting of seven stirring spirituals, celebrating the African-American musical tradition.

The Choir is joined by soloists Jane Burnell (soprano), Rachel Gilmore Mezzo-soprano), James Micklethwaite (tenor) and Phil Wilcox (bass), with the Orchestra D’Amici and conductor John Dunford in what promises to be a feast for the senses.

Tickets at £25 (reserved), £22 (unreserved) and £10 (students under 18) are available online at riponchoralsociety.org.uk, on the door, and from Ripon Cathedral shop.

See, feel and enjoy the Spirit!
