Heritage Open Day Tours at Grove Road Cemetery
There are 37 CWGC graves scattered across the cemetery including 11 local soldiers killed in WW1, some serving in the Canadian forces and a munitions worker killed at the Barnbow Shell factory.
Limited parking nearby; no facilities; level ground.
Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
Tours on Friday 6th and Sunday 8th September at 1100.
