From the traditional to the contemporary, classical to modern, there is so much going on it is difficult to know where to begin.
The switching on of the Christmas lights in towns throughout the District is always a surefire way to feel Christmas is really on its way. For many, Handel's Messiah signals the true start of Christmas, and this masterpiece can be enjoyed in several atmospheric settings across the district.
With Christmas tree festivals, late-night shopping and candlelit carol services in spectacular surroundings both ancient and modern to enjoy, the excitement and anticipation continues to grow.
Traditional family fun can be had at the pantomime with Harrogate Theatre’s annual production jam-packed with jokes and of course, there will be all the usual audience participation – ‘oh yes there will!’.
