Touring Pitches At Studfold

Studfold’s camping area consists two fields of flat easy access grassland that offer 38 level and well-drained pitches. Most of our pitches include electric hook up and offer plenty of space for a touring caravan (14m x 10m) to allow flexible use be it by motorhome, touring caravan or a family size tent.

Open areas for play and games socialising next to the pitches and there is access to Stean Beck for paddling, damn building and exploring.

Use of Studfold’s toilet and cleaning block in included within your pitch fees. These include deep sinks, hair dryers in the ladies, disabled facilities and family/baby changing rooms. Facilities are cleaned regularly.

Glamping Pods at Studfold

Spoil yourself and give one of our beautiful locally made glamping pods a try. Situated on the edge of the touring park, each pod is capable of sleeping a 2+2 family or three adults. Our pods offer you the chance to enjoy an outdoors holiday in the Yorkshire Dales, but be confident in the knowledge of being warm and dry in a fully insulated pod that even has lighting and two electric sockets and, of course a kettle!

When staying in a pod you will need to bring most of the usual camping equipment, sleeping bags, blow up mattresses pillows and cooking equipment. While the pods have lighting, you may also want to bring a lantern for outside, and torches to find your way in the dark. You may also use the firepit but will need to provide logs or purchase from reception.

Pods 1, 3 and 4 offer flexible bed bases and carpeted floor space for little ones mattresses, they also include a table, and fan heater. Each pod has its own picnic bench and a fire pit which can double as a barbeque.

Pod 2 is the dog friendly pod, with a dog pod kennel so your four legged friend can join you on your Studfold holiday. Pod 2 has no bed bases to give extra floor space for you and your dog. Please see our

Studfold Adventure and Fairy trail

When you stay at Studfold you will also find our Adventure and Fairy Trail on your doorstep. This fun and magical trail allows young ones to explore, play and learn through a range of activities and challenges and is great for letting children release any pent up energy. You can book onto the trail from our website. [to be linked to trail weblisting]

FAQs

Dogs – Dogs are welcome to the camping area, and one of the glamping pods has also been designated dog friendly with some canine facilities included. Dogs must never be left alone in or around the pods. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and there several walk options from the site. Dog owners are expected to clean up after their dogs on site, and also in surrounding woods, fields and roadside areas while they stay with us.

Cooking – We ask that ALL cooking be carried out away from tents and glamping pods. As well as fire pits for the glamping pods we also provide a camping shelter where you can shelter from unfriendly weather. The shelter includes a barbecue (fuel not included – sorry) and is available to guests until 10:30.

Guest Facilities - Our toilet and shower block is kept sparkling clean and has been designed to offer comfort and convenience with dry changing and private wash areas for each show, baby change facilities and disable facilities.

There is an undercover washing up area and grey water/Elson disposal points. Detergent and use of the washing facilities is all included in your pitch fees, so no hidden extras!

Shop - Reception at Studfold includes a small shop with basic provisions, drinks, confectionary and some small toys and gifts. Pateley Bridge is 7 miles away and has several shops that can provide everything you may need on your visit.
