Starbeck Baths
Situated in Starbeck between Harrogate and Knaresborough, and Built in 1870 this Victorian pool is a delightful small community pool.
Just a short 3 minute walk from Starbeck Train station, the Main Bus route and accessible by car Starbeck baths is a gem not to be missed.
Open to the general public we have a number of payment options from a pay as you go sessions through to our membership packages. Take out a 7 day membership from only £14.
Starbeck Baths consists of an 18m x 7m with a pool depth of 0.8 – 1.7m with a water temperature usually at 31ºC it’s ideal for the elderly and young alike.
Our programme is aimed at the community and offers a mix of sessions from General Swimming and Adults only, to Aqua babes and Family splash sessions we’re sure that there is something for everyone.
Dementia Friendly Swimming
We run a weekly session aimed at creating a friendly environment for those suffering with dementia to come and use the pool, contact us for more details.
Swimming Lessons:
We offer a comprehensive learn to swim programme that caters for all levels of swimmers from complete beginners through to national level competition.
We also offer lessons for Adults, ‘It’s Never To Late To Learn.'
