The Knaresborough Heritage Centre offers locals and visitors an interesting and informative opportunity to experience the history, archaeology, and culture of this vibrant tourist destination.
The community-run Heritage Centre also runs weekly guided history walks, monthly talks, and a rolling programme of innovative exhibitions showcasing Knaresborough's rich heritage.
The Heritage Centre consists of a newly refurbished museum gallery, visitor information desk and small heritage shop. The Heritage Centre is run by Knaresborough Museum Association volunteers and relies solely on visitor donations, grants and outside funding.
