Horticap Nature Trail, Cafe, Shop and Garden Centre
A free nature trail for the whole family, with lots of natural and manmade features to discover, including a bird hide, giant metal sculptures, a 'fairyland', large pond (fenced), a stage for budding actors, child-size cottages and more. We've provided species boards so you can spot insects, butterflies, birds, plants, and fungi. Also on site is the award winning Hopkins Cafe, a gift shop, and garden centre. Horticap is an independent, registered charity with suitably qualified staff and a team of volunteers who provide adults with learning and other disabilities training in horticulture, allied crafts and rural skills.
