You can head back to your own home-from-home with easy access to the abbey and water gardens and well-situated for Ripon, Harrogate and York as well as the Yorkshire Dales and coast.

Whitefields Cottage: Stay in this relaxed cottage with the feel of a farmhouse in the heart of Studley Royal deer park. With enough room for six people, it’s ideal for special get-togethers. Enjoy free access to wander across the 400 acres of the Studley Royal deer park from your doorstep.
The Boot Room: In the far corner of Studley Royal deer park, you’ll find The Boot Room. Once used as the hallway of Whitefields main house, The Boot Room has been converted into a quaint, compact holiday cottage in the style of a shepherd’s hut. Its location makes for the perfect base for two people on a walking break. The Boot Room can also be booked with the adjoining Whitefields Cottage.
Chorister’s House: Standing proud in the heart of the deer park, this striking house has an interesting history. It was designed by the acclaimed architect William Burges and with its impressive and sumptuous interiors, it makes for a really special stay for a group of 10.
Fountains Hall: Inside the elegant Fountains Hall are two stylish apartments Procter and Vyner. Proctor’s interior design is inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and can be found on the third floor of this 16th-century hall. Vyner sits on the second floor for Fountains Hall and displays fine historic detailing. Queen Elizabeth II and the Queen Mother once resided here. Both of these cottages sleep up to three guests.
West Gate Cottages: These lovely Yorkshire stone cottages are in an idyllic location just a short walk from the abbey ruins. These cottages include:
Fountains Cottage: an 18th-century spacious stone-built holiday cottage full of character and spread across three floors, sleeping up to 8 guests.
Abbey Cottage: Built in the 1930s in the style of Fountains Cottage, sleeping up to 6 guests.
Abbey Stores: A cosy holiday cottage with its original features still intact, ideal for a romantic break for two.
West Gate Lodge: an elegant Victorian cottage in the shadow of Fountains Abbey, sleeping up to two guests.
How Hill Cottages: A collection of five converted farm buildings; Swallow, Lapwing, Curlew, Lark and Wren. All with homely interiors, spectacular views, cosy wood-burners and green technology. Ideal for groups of up to 24 guests, the cottages can be booked in any combination.
