Black Sheep Brewery Bar & Kitchen
There’s no better way to experience our beer than at the source – visit the Black Sheep Brewery Visitor Centre here in Masham, North Yorkshire for an unforgettable day out.
‘Baa…r’ & Kitchen
It goes without saying that our beer tastes best when served mere metres from where it was made, with tasty Yorkshire food – which makes our Visitor Centre the prime location!
Housed in the same building as our iconic brewhouse is the Black Sheep Bar & Kitchen.
Here we have a fully stocked bar of our cask and keg beers, alongside ciders and spirits, proudly served by our in-house team. Proper home-cooked Yorkshire food is available from our stellar team of chefs, perfect after a tour of the brewery. And don’t forget to stop by our Sheepy Shop to stock up on beers and merchandise.
Tours are available throughout the week, giving you the chance to see (and smell!) the magic unfold with your very own eyes. Get up close and personal with our process and learn how we make our eclectic range of beers, hosted by one of our knowledgeable tour guides.
The Black Sheep Story
In its 30-year history, Black Sheep has become known nationwide as an iconic Yorkshire brand. The name refers to the founder, Paul Theakston - the 'black sheep' of the family - who founded the Black Sheep Brewery to continue the tradition of the highest quality beers after his family's brewery was sold to a national brewer. After starting with just two beers, Black Sheep now brews an enormous range of cask ales, craft beers, lagers and ciders.
