Fodder adapts to keep serving its customers

Fodder is here for you during these difficult times and we are proud to serve you and support our farmers.

Our shelves are stocked full of wonderful Yorkshire produce and the shop is open. We have introduced a raft of robust measures to ensure our staff and customers are safe. This includes limiting the number of people in the shop, social distancing, hand sanitisers, plastic screens at the tills, regularly sterilizing baskets and trollies after each use and card payments only.

Our butchers are preparing plenty of meat, including Fodder pork sausages, Ian Taylor is delivering his fresh eggs and we have lots of tasty treats including our chefs homemade scones. We are getting daily deliveries to ensure there’s plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and we've got fresh and dry pasta and rice.

In this fast-moving situation, we are updating our website and our methods of working every day. A new home delivery service has been introduced for those who are self-isolating in Harrogate and Knaresborough. We have teamed up with our super suppliers Delifresh who are offering home deliveries to those we can’t reach. We have also introduced a free click and collect service for customers who can pick up their shopping from the car park.

We just ask that you be patient with us while we run this larger scale operation which is different to anything we have had to do before in Fodder. We are streamlining this service all the time to make it fast and efficient to serve as many people as we possibly can.

We are also offering a discount to our incredible NHS staff. As a small way of saying thank you for your hard work we would like to offer NHS workers 10% off in Fodder. Please just show your NHS badge/card to a member of the Fodder team.

We are so grateful to our amazing staff, suppliers, farmers and producers, who are all helping us to provide a service for the community.
And finally thank you, our lovely customers for your invaluable support. We’ve had some truly, touching feedback and it means the world to us. We hope you and your families stay safe and well.

New shop opening times from Monday 6th April:

9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and Bank Holidays
Closed Sundays
Please keep an eye on our website for updates, you can also order here online www.fodder.co.uk
