Father Christmas is coming to Harrogate district
The jolly man in the red suit is visiting the district this festive season and is looking forward to seeing all the children and handing out presents. Here's where to find Father Christmas this year.

Santa at Stockeld Park
Father Christmas is very busy at Stockeld Park near Wetherby this year. He arrives with his reindeer on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th November before opening his grotto for children to visit and receive a present until Christmas Eve. Children can also enjoy breakfast panto on selected days in November and December.

Christmas at Mother Shipton’s
In the market town of Knaresborough from Saturday 26th November to Saturday 24th December take a visit to Mother Shipton’s Cave by the river Nidd for a Magical Christmas Experience.
Wander through the twinkling woodland to the enchanted Christmas Village where you can post your letter to Santa in the Elf Mail post box, visit Father Christmas and meet Chief Elf Chestnut.

North Pole Post Office: Harrogate Branch
The sparkly, shimmering Harrogate International Festivals North Pole Post Office will again allow children to find a magical way to send their letters off to the North Pole.

Harrogate Father Christmas Experience and Codebreaker’s Christmas
Festive fun awaits children at the Cedar Court Hotel in Harrogate this December, with two entertaining interactive events. At the Father Christmas Experience, children can train to be an elf in Elf Village, meet Father Christmas and pick up their Elf Graduation Certificate.
Codebreaker’s Christmas sees children take part in an escape room style event. Santa needs your help with this top secret mission, pass the tests and crack the codes to save Christmas.
With lots of Christmas activities taking place in the Harrogate district, your little ones will enjoy the magical excitement right up until the big day itself.
