About Knaresborough Castle & Courthouse Museum
Overlooking the River Nidd, revealing centuries of royal, military and domestic history. Ruined walls and interpretive displays explore medieval power, everyday life and legendary episodes, while the museum presents local stories, objects and archaeology within atmospheric stone buildings that enhance heritage learning for all ages.

Dogs are allowed in the Castle Grounds, but not in the Castle Keep, Castle Courtyard Museum or Sally Port Tours.
